The LineOnMe AI subscription and provider costs
Why the LineOnMe AI subscription and paying your AI provider are different things, and where to see token usage.
Updated October 30, 2026
LineOnMe AI involves two kinds of costs, and it’s important not to mix them up.
The LineOnMe AI subscription
It is paid in the LineOnMe AI account and covers the system: AI employees, knowledge, channels, conversations, clients, the catalog, analytics and the activity log. The subscription price doesn’t depend on how many messages the AI has handled.
Paying for AI replies
AI replies are not part of the LineOnMe AI subscription. You can pay for them in one of two ways. Your own API key: model usage — tokens — is paid to the provider directly on its terms; if the provider offers a free model, you can use it. The AI balance: without a key of your own, AI replies are paid for through LineOnMe — you top up the balance in your account, and usage is charged to it.
Where to see usage
LineOnMe AI analytics shows token usage by employee and model; with your own key, bills and limits are in the provider’s account, and with the AI balance the remaining amount is shown in your LineOnMe AI account.
