Quick start with LineOnMe AI

Seven steps from sign-up to an AI employee’s first reply to a client: provider, employee, knowledge, channel, test and launch.

The first time you open the LineOnMe AI account, you see the “Launch in 7 steps” screen. It walks you through the order that works best: first the AI that will do the thinking, then the employee, its knowledge and the channel where it will talk to clients.

Seven steps

  1. Connect AI. Choose a provider — for example, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Kimi, DeepSeek or YandexGPT — and paste your own API key, or work without a key of your own through the AI balance: AI replies are then paid from the balance in your account.
  2. Create an AI employee. Pick a role — sales, support, administrator or your own — give it a name and decide what the employee may do on its own.
  3. Add knowledge. Upload your price list, service descriptions, work rules and answers to common questions.
  4. Connect a channel. For example, your website chat, Telegram or email.
  5. Assign the employee to the channel. A channel can be handled by one AI employee or by several “by topic”: a main employee and up to five colleagues.
  6. Try it in the test chat. Write to the employee as a client would — real clients receive nothing in the meantime.
  7. Click Launch. The employee starts working, and the account opens on the Home screen.

Setting up by conversation

You can also go through the steps without forms: tell LineOnMe AI about your business in text or by voice, and it will suggest the settings. Each change is saved only after you confirm it.

Where to go next

Each step is covered in more detail in the AI employees, Knowledge bases, AI providers and models, and Channels sections of this knowledge base.
