What an AI employee is
An AI employee is a job, not a chatbot: a role, instructions, knowledge, channels, permissions and its own AI provider.

An AI employee is an AI role you set up to work with your clients and company tasks. The AI employees section brings your whole AI team together: who is doing what, where they work and whether everything is fine.
What an employee is made of
- Role and instructions — what its job is, what it does and what it must not do.
- Knowledge — the knowledge base materials it relies on.
- Channels — where it replies to clients: website chat, messengers, email.
- Tools and permissions — what it can do: reply, work with files, email, calls, the catalog and analytics.
- Autonomy — what it does on its own and what only after your approval.
- Brain — the AI provider and model.
- Working hours — the schedule during which it replies to clients.
The employee card
The card shows whether the employee is working or paused, whether there is an error, how many conversations and actions it has today, what is awaiting approval and when it was last active. From here you can also test the employee, set it up by conversation or pause it.
Test conversation
Write to the employee as a client would and see what it replies, which knowledge it relies on and which actions it would take. In test mode, clients receive nothing and nothing changes.
