AI drafts: checking replies before they are sent
How to review an AI employee’s replies before they reach the client: drafts, the Send and Reject buttons.
Updated October 9, 2026
If an AI employee isn’t allowed to reply to clients on its own, each of its replies arrives in Conversations as a draft. The client receives the reply only after a person sends it.
What it looks like
A draft card appears in the messages with the reply text and two buttons: Send and Reject. All conversations with drafts are gathered in the Awaiting approval view, and their number is shown next to Conversations in the menu.
Steps
- Open the Awaiting approval view.
- Read the draft in the context of the conversation.
- Click Send if the reply is right, or Reject and reply yourself.
When it is useful
Drafts work well during a new employee’s first days and for important clients. Once you’re sure the employee replies well, let it reply on its own on the Autonomy tab.
